The Kold Shapes POLAR II BLACK FOREST EDITION is the latest freestyle / freeride board from Kold Shapes. The popular predecessor model POLAR has been revised after three successful years. The new POLAR II is extremely comfortable to ride and control in all conditions and guarantees you a precise jump at all times.
The flex of the board is pleasantly cushioning, the new, revised 3D top deck provides a little more feedback for the driver. In addition, new recessed grips have been incorporated into the top deck, which provide more grip for board off tricks.
The biggest update is certainly the new construction of the underwater hull. The new, deeper double concaves give more grip at higher speeds and big turns. The expanded channels let you hold the edge longer and control before jumping to new altitude records.

The board is available with either the 4.5 standard freestyle or 3.0 wake fins .
You can also choose between the Velcro binding and the ratchet binding . The board is also available as board only .
Mario Rodwald and the Kold Shapes team aim to produce CO2 neutrally and at the same time offer maximum performance. Therefore, mainly natural materials are used for production.
The flat fiber is a sustainable and efficient cellulose-based composite. The fiber used in the board reduces the board's carbon footprint and provides special stability and flex properties that give the board comfort and performance.
The precision-milled Paulownia wood core is the basis of the HORIZON. The wood is particularly light and offers a pleasant flex with the stringers. The board was milled three-dimensionally to reduce the weight.
The double concave offers maximum control on take-off and landing. In combination with the complex channel construction of the underwater hull, it offers additional grip and improved planing behavior.
Thanks to the ratchet system, the ratchet binding is super easy to adjust on and off the water. It works very intuitively and in seconds.
For extra comfort, memory foam has been used on the inside and edges of the straps.
The Kold Shapes Pads Air Dampening system absorbs shocks during landing and driving. The integrated air cushion cushioned the blows in the heel area. Thanks to the structured 3D surface, you always have the best possible grip in the binding. The toe ridge gives your toes extra support.

The Kold Shapes IKON is the high performance freestyle and freeride board from the Kold Shapes collection. The ultra-light carbon board gives you a very direct riding experience with a pleasant, sporty flex. The carbon fibers enable an explosive take off and thus very high jumps. Additional grip and control is provided by the double concave and the complex channel construction in the bottom of the board. This makes the board the first choice for radical jumps and comfortable landings.
The outline of the IKON is similar to that of the Kold Shapes Polar and lets you glide through choppy conditions very relaxed.
